”
HARVEY BUNDA
For over twenty years, I have helped shape visual experiences for some of the world's most recognized entertainment franchises.
Throughout my career, I've worked as an Art Director, Lead Artist, and Senior Concept Artist across AAA games, interactive entertainment, and global toy and publishing brands. I've contributed to projects spanning Star Wars, Marvel, Transformers, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Assassin's Creed Shadows, The Last of Us Part I & Part II Remastered, Mafia: The Old Country, Dying Light: The Beast, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Total War: Warhammer, Total War: Pharaoh, Football Manager, and collaborations with industry leaders including Hasbro and Mattel.
My experience covers concept development, world-building, visual direction, environment design, character development, key art, and building high-performing art teams. Over the years I've helped establish art pipelines, mentor artists, and lead multidisciplinary teams through every stage of production, balancing artistic vision with the practical realities of game development.
While I continue to enjoy creating for interactive entertainment, my deepest passion has always been traditional painting.
Outside the digital world, I work exclusively in watercolor, creating illustrations inspired by Scandinavian folklore, mythology, and the great illustrators of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. My paintings are crafted using traditional methods, including hand-ground pigments made from semi-precious stones such as lapis lazuli, tiger's eye, sodalite, apatite, and other natural minerals. Many pieces are further enhanced with genuine gold leaf and custom handcrafted frames, reflecting the same dedication to craftsmanship found in historical illuminated manuscripts and classical illustration.
These works form the foundation of The Fabled Glen, my independent publishing studio where I write, illustrate, and publish original stories that celebrate traditional techniques, folklore, and timeless storytelling.
Whether directing large-scale productions for global studios or painting quietly in my workshop, my philosophy remains the same:
